The Prisoner and The Captor
I had such a hard time coming up with a title for this one. A friend and I kept throwing around ideas till we came up with this. I can’t take full credit for it haha.
Here it is, the fifth image for the 52 Week Project, theme: keys.

I also made a speed edit video for this one. It was a fairly simple edit but it’s fun doing these (:
First texture used is by Brooke Shaden, second is my own.
At the beginning, I struggled a bit with coming up with an idea for the keys theme. I was looking everywhere for inspiration, and I did find some amazing images, but I wanted to do something more.. personal. I was asked once how I come up with my ideas, and the way this came together is by just taking some time away from everything. Sit alone, no laptop, no phone, no distractions. Take one word, and think of what it means to you, personally. One thought will drag another and before you know it, boom! Idea. What also helped me a lot was Brooke Shaden’s inspiration exercises; she talks about more than one way you could come up with an idea.
I don’t want to explain what this one means to me, so I’ll just leave it up for interpretation (:
Next week’s theme is (drum roll please): faceless portrait
sometimes I wonder what I was thinking when I wrote these themes down lol.
I’ve been working on a few projects lately and I’m super excited to tell you guys about them. I’ll write another post in a few days (:
What have you guys been up to?
