Last week’s theme for the 52 Week Project was cemetery. I was really excited to do it but then I realized that I can’t actually visit a cemetery and even if I did, there are no headstones in our cemeteries.
So I thought I’d just do something in our backyard, and I saw some small wood logs lying around so I used those. I still want to do something in a real cemetery one day, but for now this will do. For the background I used one of the pictures I took when I was in Malaysia.
This picture was partly inspired by a song called Circle by Flyleaf.

The compositing for this wasn’t as hard as some of my other pictures, but I thought I’d show you a before/after anyway 🙂

This week’s theme is: long exposure.
Kinda nervous about that because I tried long exposure photography when I was in Malaysia and that didn’t go well. But I’m excited to try again!
I’m also working on two blog posts all about inspiration – what inspires me on a daily basis, and the inspiration behind some of my images! Can’t wait to share that with you guys.
