Contest!

I loooove photography contests, so I thought I’d have one!
A while back a friend of mine wanted to experiment with compositing and asked me to send him some stock images he could use. That got me thinking that it would be so awesome to see how people edit my pictures. So this is how it’s going to be:
1. Like this Facebook post
2. Leave a comment saying “I’m in!” at the bottom of this blog post. You’ll be asked to enter an email address, which remains private.

The fun bit!
3. Within a week, you’ll receive an email from me with a link to a dropbox folder. The folder will contain 2 pictures of a model, with some extra pictures (of hair/dress etc) in case you want to use those.
3. You will have until the 26th of January to send in your pictures. You can do whatever you want (but keep it PG rated!)
4. There’s going to be 3 winners, and they’ll be announced on the 28th of January. I’ll also feature ALL entries in a blog post.

Here’s what the winners are gonna get:
First place: 40x40cm (around 15in) signed print of one of my pictures (you get to choose which one), special feature on my Facebook page, and a permanent feature on my Instagram feed.
Second place: 20x20cm (around 8in) signed print of one of my pictures (you get to choose which one), one week feature on my Instagram feed.
Third place: 20x20cm (around 8in) signed print of one of my pictures.

Two of my photography friends will help me choose the winners. I recommend not having watermarks on your images to leave it anonymous. To submit your pictures, all you have to do is email them to me. You can use dropbox if you’d like. I’m going to have all the submissions forwarded to my sister so she can save the images, and I can look at them without knowing whose entry it is (I don’t want to be biased, in case any of my friends decide to enter).

Copyright/Permissions: you’re free to use the pictures however you want.

Sounds good? Let’s do this! If you have any questions, do let me know 🙂

This is an image I shot a few weeks ago – I’m so thankful for having sisters who put up with my ridiculous demands haha.
