Letters To The Dead
I know, I know – I’m late again. I’ve been working on a bunch of different things all at once and I couldn’t work on the image for the 52 week project as much as I wanted to.
A while back I started feeling like I was relying on the project to make new pictures and I missed doing things that aren’t for the project – so I’ve been doing that. Last Friday I did a quick shoot and I’m happy with how it turned out but I still have to work on it more. I took my sisters and my 5 year old niece with me and it was so much fun. My niece kept photo-bombing my pictures, then she almost threw a tantrum because she wanted to be in a dress too! I didn’t have a dress with me, I used a bedsheet for that shoot. So.. this happened.

I ended up taking more pictures of her than I did during my shoot. She just loves to pose.
So last week’s theme for the project was Book Title. Some of you might already know that reading is one of the things I love the most (besides photography) so it was hard to pick just one. I wrote down a bunch of possible ideas but I did end up choosing one that seemed simpler than the rest. I chose the title Love Letters To The Dead, the book is by Ava Dellaira. I read it a few weeks ago and it was pretty good. This is what I came up with:

I also made a speed-edit video for this because I miss making videos, yay!
This was fun to edit. Honestly, I wouldn’t say that I’m completely happy with how it turned out. I’m not sure what it is about this one, it might just be the idea. I duuunno. I’m ready to move on to the next one!
The theme is going to be: opposites.

Amani, I like your new image! I find it very calming and I can almost hear+feel the wind blowing – a cheesy comment, I know, but it’s the first thing that entered my mind, so whatcha gonna do… 😀
Also thank you for the speed edit, I always enjoy them – just wish they weren’t so speedy 😀
Love and hugs ❤
