My name is Amani (arabic for dreams) and I’m a 26 year old fine art photographer from the United Arab Emirates. I graduated from university with a bachelor’s in interior design and I used to design yacht interiors for a living.
Photography is my passion. I’ve loved photography ever since I was a kid and I dabbled with all kinds of photography until finally realizing my love for fine art photography. It became my therapy and my release. I’m slowly transitioning into making photography my full-time job, taking portrait clients (families, couples, etc.) and teaching photography and photoshop workshops.

I love writing and I tend to ramble sometimes. And sometimes I try to be funny, and other times I try to sound poetic. English isn’t my first language and I always use that as an excuse for grammatical mistakes or for sounding silly (even though my english is better than my arabic). But in the end, this blog is where I’m just.. me. Awkward, curious, silly, shy me. So thanks for reading 🙂
